Has human exploration reached its end? Have frontiers gone the way of the Wild West? We might imagine adventure in a galaxy far-far away, but the possibilities for spectacular vistas and new kinds of development within own solar system might surprise you.
Erik Wernquist, a digital artist and animator from Sweden, has used NASA imagery to create a collage of possibilities for the future of human exploration among the planets and moons orbiting our sun. To depict the scenes as human explorers might truly experience them, Eric used real imagery and data whenever possible. The film also features audio of Carl Sagan narrating his book Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space.
