Audiences throughout the Valley and Northern Arizona were able to see “The Road Back Home,” Dixiletta Moving Pictures’ documentary on homelessness in Maricopa County, Arizona, on Phoenix’s NBC affiliate, KPNX Channel 12. During the hour, producers Dixie and Robert encouraged viewers to contribute to the One Step Away campaign, which guarantees that 100% of funds received will go directly to homeless services. At the end of the documentary, Derrick Hall, CEO of the Arizona Diamondbacks, also made a special appeal to viewers to get involved by helping the Valley take the next big step in reducing homelessness by building 1000 units of permanent supportive housing and supporting existing services.
